Aims and scope
The Design for All International, founded in 2021, is the heir to the knowledge developed since 2001 by the Design for All Foundation.
We aim to:
- Promote the application, research, generation of knowledge, and dissemination of Design for All in both public and private companies and entities, administrations, educational agents, designers and professionals, with the aim of achieving a cohesive and equitable society.
- Promote, participate in and organize participation processes with public and private entities.
- Provide professional training, promote job placement and job creation in favour of people with disabilities or at risk of social exclusion, which allows the creation of jobs and, finally, integration into the labour market.
- Promote collaboration and local and international experiences exchange at any level.
- Disseminate good practices
- Promote citizens engagement in all aspects related to dignity, diversity, quality of life and sustainability.
Our objectives include the following actions:
- Encourage, collaborate in the development and production of multilingual and easy-to-use Internet portals to compile, systematize and disseminate the knowledge of Design for All in the different areas of action.
- Encourage, collaborate, participate in the development, production, publication, edition, distribution, administration and promotion of multimedia, intellectual and/or industrial works linked to the aims and areas of the Association.
- Establish collaboration agreements, alliances and/or agreements with other organizations or institutions, local, state or international, public or private that promote similar interests and promote a better dissemination of the founding purposes of the Association.
- Collaborate, participate, promote, elaborate, distribute and develop projects and research to implement Design for All in companies, administrations, entities and society in general, to improve people's quality of life.
- Organize forums, conferences, colloquiums, seminars, exhibitions and other activities linked to the aims and areas of the Association.
